On- Demand Snapchat Geofilters
The power for a user to create their own filters was unlocked with the roll-out of the On-Demand Geofilter tool—interface featured below. To celebrate the initiative, users were encouraged to create artwork for their own locale (mine for Oakland featured below) which were then promoted using large scale billboards in and around those communities. Hundreds of billboards and filters were launched around the world during this campaign.
